May 26 is National Sorry Day. On this day, we commemorate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families under government policies during the Assimilation era (officially 1910-1970). Those children stolen from their families have become known as the Stolen Generations.

Today, the KCAC βAble and loving itβ disability participants, created some clay works of art. Lunch was butter chicken with rice and dessert was a yummy fruity pavlova.

Coming up on the 6th July 2022, KCAC will be celebrating NAIDOC Week, with the disability and CALD community. There will be dancing, singing, didgeridoo and Aboriginal art. β¬οΈπ‘π₯
